Sollena's Story
I am a lifelong student of the natural world, and a guide for individuals as they reawaken their inner wisdom and reclaim their own sacred nature. Today, I live with a sense of purpose and flow. My life is authentically mine, my voice and my light are bold and bright.
BUT BELEIVE ME-- I'M FAMILIAR WITH FEELING DRAINED, UNSEEN, HEART-BROKEN, AND UNWORTHY.
I had been playing small because I had a set of beliefs that were buried in my subconscious, limiting my relationship with life. Even after the therapies, and classes, and ceremonies, and affirmations and meditations-- my subconscious was still throwing banana peels and road blocks at my relationships, career goals, and self awareness. I had even tried several somatic healing practices for myself. I have also had many wise, intuitive and loving teachers along the way.
All these approaches and people were amazing and absolutely got me through the darkest times. I am truly blessed and grateful for all these healing modalities. But the real work I needed to do - was return to Nature, listen to myself, and reclaim my own light.
However... my voice had become so small, shy, and buried that I couldn't hear it any longer.
I couldn't give a voice to my desires, dreams, hopes... even grievances. I had simply lost touch with my own light.
You probably know this feeling; it's all the stuff your heart whispers when you're falling asleep. I didn't know how to bridge my knowledge of how to heal, or what I needed to heal- with true embodied living. There was always just that edge.
That''s where I was, until I discovered hypnotherapy where I learned how to bring the shadow into light and reset patterns that didn't serve me. I simultaneously acquired energy healing tools to tend to my own inner wounds, and to eventually enhance my effectiveness as a healer for others to arrive at wholeness once again, or maybe for the first time.
I was able to reconnect to dormant parts of me that were yearning to be expressed. I faced my outdated beliefs, unwound some societal programming, examined familial attitudes-- and my whole life changed. I reconnected to my own inner light. And I'm always adventuring into myself to learn more.
I now stand as a guide for individuals as they reawaken their own inner wisdom and reclaim their sacred nature.
Before stepping fully into healing work, I spent years as a photojournalist—honing a deep sensitivity to imagery, emotion, and energy. That lens still shapes how I see and support others: attuned to what’s just beneath the surface, and how the shadow longs to be witnessed, honored, and brought into light.
I am a certified Master Transpersonal Hypnotherapist, a certified teacher of Waldorf education, and a devoted student of the body–mind–spirit connection. For 25 years and counting, I’ve studied human development and consciousness mapping through many perspectives—ancient pre-Mayan folklore, somatic healing practices, astrology, work as a birth doula, and energy medicine among them.
But more than anything, I am in relationship—with the Earth, with spirit, and with the elemental forces that have held and shaped me. My days are rooted in homesteading, homemaking, and ceremony with five incredibly wise and profoundly loving teachers, my children.
Whether I’m tending a fire or a child’s heart, listening to the wind or to a client in session, I bring reverence and presence to each interaction. I would be humbled to share my acquired wisdom with you.
